Paul was born December 27, 1947. Soon after high school, he voluntarily joined the Army, 199th Infantry Brigade with advanced  training, and served in Vietnam. After returning to Bismarck, he obtained a Sociology Degree from Mary College, then  counseled inmates into a better future.

After meeting in Bismarck, Paul and Bonnie Grey spent six months in Mexico falling further in  love with each other, gathering authentic recipes which they brought back to Bismarck and  started the reputable Fiesta Villa for 30+ years. Paul was blessed with the gift of service to others which shined in the restaurant business and to his family, friends, and even strangers. He was a gentle, compassionate, and empathetic soul who definitely had a passion for life. He enjoyed his family very much, along with traveling, boating, motorcycles, and cars. He also had a great love for shooting pool and golfing; taking a state amateur championship in his pool league and was fortunate enough to get two hole-in-ones during his lifetime.

Married on April 16,1980, Paul and Bonnie were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Ashleigh and  McKenzie.

Paul is survived by wife, Bonnie Grey Brink; daughter, Ashleigh; son-in-law, Matthew Fleck; grandson, Weston; daughter, McKenzie; son-in-law, Kristopher Bunker; a new grandson to be; sister, Laurey Brink; brother, Peter Brink; and brother, Stephen Brink.

Paul is now in heavenly union with his parents, Dr. Norvel and Lavina Brink; sisters, Kathryn Kalisch and Deanna Singer; mother and father-in-law, Ann and Oscar Adolf; brother-in-law, Rick Whitworth; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Larry Cooper; and nephews, Tim Kalisch and Johnny Grey.
