Lois D. Dolan, 100, died on Oct. 22, 2021 at St. Vincent’s, Bismarck. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 1004 East Highland Acres Rd, Bismarck. The family requests that funeral attendees wear masks.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.

Lois Dorothy Dolan was born January 16, 1921, at Kenmare, the daughter of Louis and Dagmar (Petersen) Hansen. She was raised and attended school at Kenmare and was a student at Minot State University.
On June 7, 1940, Lois married Glenn Dolan at Kenmare, where they lived until moving to Bismarck in 1963.
She was an active member of Lutheran Church of the Cross, Chapter AX of the P.E.O Sisterhood, and Thursday Music Club. Music was important to Lois, and for 35 years she served as an organist and choir accompanist in her churches at Kenmare and Bismarck. Not one to be idle, Lois enjoyed tatting, knitting, hardanger, needlework projects, reading, painting, backyard bird watching, and crossword puzzles.
Lois is survived by two daughters, Anita Gay (Walt Wicklein), Fallston, Maryland, and Patricia Jones, Bismarck; one sister, Adele Johnston of Plentywood, Montana; 8 grandchildren: Erik (Sandra) Wicklein, Matt (Jill) Wicklein, Sue Hoss (John Meyer), Amy Hoss Knight (Curtis) Beth Hoss Hagler (David), JoEllyn Hoss, Christopher Jones (Kara), Laura Hill, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Lois is now reunited in heaven with her parents, husband, Glenn; daughter, Kathy and son-in-law, Jim Hoss; two brothers, Lloyd and Jim Hansen; sisters, Marcella Hansen, Marilyn Clark and brothers-in-law, Al Clark, Jean Drury, Bill Drury and Bill Johnston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of North Dakota.
