Christopher Charles Owens, 35, Dickinson, died unexpectedly, Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends Celebration from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. A private family burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson.
Christopher Charles Owens was born August 23, 1986 in Dickinson, the son of Roy T. and Susan M. (Zastoupil) Owens. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, having graduated in 2004. Christopher began working at Ralphy’s Grill and Bar (later named Sanford’s Grub and Pub) during high school. He went on to start his career at Hedahl’s (AutoValue) where he worked for 13 years until the time of his death.
He never missed a new movie at the movie theater. He loved music, video games, trivia, playing frisbee golf, traveling to concerts and wrestling events. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Christopher is survived by his dad, Roy; brothers, Brad (Kari) Barnett, Dickinson and Gary (Jessica) Barnett, Dickinson; ten very special nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
