Sandra Skavdahl, 79, of Bismarck, ND, passed away on August 31, 2021, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Bismarck.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. The burial will follow on Thursday at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Richardton, ND.
Sandy was born on January 1, 1942, to Joseph and Ottillia (Froehlich) Hoff in Richardton, ND where she was raised and attended school.
Sandy loved music, especially the piano, and spent many years teaching piano lessons from her home. She dedicated years planning the music and playing the organ each week at church. She also volunteered her time in many other ways including delivering Meals on Wheels, rolling hair at the nursing home, and as a volunteer EMT. Sandy was a crossword enthusiast who enjoyed working on crossword puzzles daily. She always looked forward to spending time with her family and grandchildren who meant the world to her.
Sandy will be deeply missed by her son, Roger (Ingrid) Skavdahl of Germany; her daughter, Karen (Jay) Mosher of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Gabriella Skavdahl, Matthew Skavdahl, Max Mosher, and Tor Mosher; sister, LaVerne (Roger) Reinbold of Bismarck, brothers, Joseph (Joan) Hoff of Richardton and Cornell Hoff of Bismarck, sister-in-law, Delores Hoff of Fargo, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Herman, Edwin, Donald, and Richard; and sister, Victoria Sattler.
