Nicholas Ray Tudor, 26 of Minot, ND left this world to be with our heavenly father on June 23rd, 2025, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Nick was born on December 13th, 1998, in Minot, ND to Benjamin and Heather Tudor and older sister, Brittaney. He was raised in Velva and graduated from Velva High School in 2018.

While he was living at home he enjoyed hunting, especially pheasants and geese. He was always bringing something home and leaving feathers everywhere it seemed. He loved going on family trips to Tennessee and Louisiana growing up, he especially loved spending time in Louisiana at the Fish Camp and chasing his girl cousins with lizards.

Nick began working at Hildre Construction after High School and then went to Bismarck State College with several of his classmates until deciding college was not for him. When he moved back home to Velva, he continued to work for Hildre Construction for a time. He thought he needed something more, so moved to Stanley, ND with a classmate, Brock Selzler, and started working for Key Energy in the oil field of North Dakota. He loved the oil field work. He really felt like he was doing something. Life in the oilfield was frustrating at times, especially when the pandemic hit and working was tough. Nick got through it and proceeded to work other companies such as Basin Well Service and most recently Dakota Chemical.

Nick especially loved spending time with family and friends. He was the hit of the party when there were family gatherings, and the younger nieces and cousins couldn’t help but hang on to him, and all you heard was giggling while he was twirling the kids around. He was always running around chasing after the kids, playing ball or taking his nieces for bike rides to the park.

Nick was a kind, gentle, and loyal young man. He will be deeply missed, and his memories with family and friends will be cherished forever.

Nicholas is survived by his parents, Ben and Heather Tudor, of Velva. His sister Brittaney (Michael) Schmidt, and nieces Remington and Raegan of Velva. Paternal Grandparents Ray G. (Dana)Tudor of Shreveport, Louisiana and Carolyn Tudor of Atlanta, Georgia. Uncle Brandon (Erika) Tudor of Atlanta, Georgia. Maternal Grandparents are Joel & Mardi Schock of Velva and Great Grandmother Verna Schock of Velva. Uncles Brent (Amanda) Heinrich of Velva to include cousins Reese (Dallas, TX), Morgan (Bowbells, ND) and Logan Heinrich (Lignite, ND). David and Emily Schock of Velva along with several extended cousins and friends from all over the country.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his Grandparents John Heinrich, Barbara Heinrich, Emil Schock, John and Margaret Thomas, Inez and A.G. Gilbert, and Grover and RoseMarie Tudor.
