
Earl “Hezzie” Samuel Wagner Jr., passed away surrounded by family in a Trinity Hospital on May 12, 2025 in Minot, ND at the age of 60.
Earl was born April 1, 1965 in Bloosmburg, PA to Earl S. Wagner Sr. and Gail Larue (Raup) Wagner. He graduated from Columbia Mountour Vo-Tech with the class of 1983 where he majored in drafting.
Earl joined the US Air Force in January 1984 until he was honorably discharged in February 1994.
Earl married wife, Carol Marie Fimreite on July 1, 2010 at the Twin Bridges in Columbia County, PA.
Earl began his working career with the US Air Force in 1984 where he worked for the Security Forces until 1994. During this time, he had fathered his two children in a previous marriage. Throughout the following years he had made many friends as he was employed with Minot Public Schools, Baker Hughes and most recently Creedence Energy Services, where he maintained the many oil wells around the area. He loved his family and was typically found doing all he could outdoors with his family and friends in his down time. He was a well-known face around town and is going to be greatly missed by many!
Earl is survived by his spouse, Carol Wagner of Minot, ND, parents, Earl S. Wagner Sr. and Gail Wagner of Danville, PA, brother, Eric (Stacy) Wagner of Mountain Top, PA, children, Megan (Joshua) Buskuehl of Steelville, MO and Tanner (Michelle) Wagner of Antelope, CA, step-children, Dean (Amanda) Wittmayer and Amy Wittmayer all of Granville, ND, grandchildren, Charleigh and Everett Buskuehl of Steelville, MO, step-grandchildren, Erik and Antonio Perez of Granville, ND, Haley Buskuehl of Steelville, MO, and Jaxon Hollingsworth of Granville, ND, and nieces, Kayla and Corinne Wagner of Mountain Top, PA.
A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
