Scott Clouse, 62, Minot, went to meet Jesus on Sunday, March 23, 2025 after a short battle with cancer.
Scott Michael Clouse was born to Calvin & Leoda (Lee) Clouse, on June 21, 1962 in Rapid City, SD. Scott’s dad was in the Air Force, so they moved around in his younger years; He lived at Ellsworth AFB, Rapid City, SD, Webb AFB, Big Spring, TX, Minot AFB, ND, Clark AFB, Philippines & Minot, ND
He graduated from Magic City Campus in 1981. Scott worked at Miracle Mart, Walmart, Ground Round, and Kroll’s Diner. Recently, he helped deliver the Minot Daily News and the Trading Post. Because of his adventurous nature, he also worked in AZ, MN, Washington State & Utah over the years.
Scott was a trivia buff, loved to play pinochle, bingo, sing karaoke & dance. He had an amazing memory for remembering old actors, old movies & super heroes. You could often see him wearing anything with Spiderman and recently, he rekindled his love for Snoopy & Charles Schultz, the creator. Scott had a vast collection of old & new movies on VHS & DVD.
Scott had a very kind heart for children & animals. He loved to help anyone, friend or stranger. Dressing up in costumes for Halloween and Christmas always brought joy to Scott.
Scott was a member of Second Story Social Club in Minot. He valued deeply the relationships and friends he made there over the years.
Scott is survived by his parents, Calvin and Lee Clouse, Minot; brothers and sisters: Caleen (Lenny) Larson, Minot, Jeff (Jeannie) Clouse South Weber, Utah, Lance Clouse, Van Buren, AR, Heidi Clouse, Minot; nieces & nephews: Bob, Ashley, Brooke, Savanna, Dennis Clouse, Landon Larson, Hunter & Bailey Clouse, Morgen & Carter Martelle; great nieces and nephews: Blakely Fitzgerald, Levi, Gunner, Lennox Larson, Chevelle Dotson, Monroe Martelle.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents Moses & Clara Clouse and Gordon & Eileen Johnson and nephew Devin Larson.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. April 4, 2025 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Minot. In Scott’s memory, feel free to wear Spiderman or Snoopy attire. To view a livestream of the service access https://www.oslcminot.com/watch
Visitation will be held on April 3, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
