Robert “Bob” Moore, age 92, was called to Heaven on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Bismarck Funeral Home.  Burial will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan at 3:00 pm.

Robert was born in Mondamin, Iowa on December 15, 1931 to Raymond and Esther (Thomas) Moore.  He graduated from Mondamin High School with the class of 1950.  In 1952, Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War.  He served in the Air Force for ten years at several Air Force U.S. bases.  Bob then worked for the Air Force as a civilian for twenty-two years and retired in 1996, with more than thirty-two years of working for the Air Force.

He married Victoria Walter on October 14, 1977 in Sloan, Iowa and they made their home in Minot, ND.  Victoria passed away on September 7, 2004.

Bob was known as a hard worker from Iowa.  He loved watching wrestling on TV and was fond of listening to old country western music.

Bob is survived by sons, Ronald Walter of Minot ND, Frank Walter of Mountain Grove MO, Richard Walter of Goldendale WA; daughter, Chloe Cawley of Goldendale WA and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Victoria; son, Leroy “Andy”; grandson, Andrew;  brothers, Kenneth, Glen and Curtis; sisters, Dorothy and Kathryn and infant sisters, Janice and Conie.
