Jeffrey C. Carlson, 65, Minot, died Sunday, August 18, 2024, in a Minot hospital.
Jeffrey was born April 19, 1959, in Minot, ND to Roy and Mary (Hager) Carlson. He was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1977.
After high school, Jeff started at job as an employee for Morris Rod Weeder, MFG. in Minot for a number of years until joining JD Home Improvements. He worked as a carpenter for many years. As life slowed, he took a job with Bob’s Maintenance, working mostly in the housing division until his retirement earlier this year on his birthday April 19, 2024.
Jeffrey was a proud member of AARP. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, often with a fishing rod in his hand at Lake Audubon or around the glow of a campfire with family and friends. He found solace in the freedom of the open roads of North Dakota on his Harley riding many miles with his friends. He will be remembered for his simplicity in his daily life, long phone conversations and the clinking of ice cubes.
Jeff is survived by his brother Todd (Mary Kay) Carlson, Minot along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Kay ‘Red’ Carlson, Duane Bell, Gayla Bell and Ronald Carlson.
Celebration of Life for Jeffrey Carlson: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
