CUYLER GRAFF, 45, Bismarck, passed away on July 15, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Bismarck Funeral Home.

The visitation will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Bismarck Funeral Home, with a prayer service and time of sharing beginning at 7:00 PM.

Cuyler was born the first of two children on November 4, 1978, in Bismarck, North Dakota, to Clyde and Cindy Graff.  Cuyler married Erica Greff in 2004 and to this union had two beautiful children: Alayna Graff and Jaxon Graff. They shared an inseparable bond with their children. Cuyler gave everything in his heart to his children, leaving behind a legacy of boundless love and unwavering devotion.  After divorcing, Cuyler entered into a relationship with Lacey and her three children (Kashton, Brielle, and Aria). He spent the final six years of his life with her and her children, blending their families and forming strong bonds.

Cuyler attended Bismarck public schools and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1997. He spent most of his youth in boy scouts and earned his Eagle Scout Award in 1995. Cuyler spent most of his adult life working as an electrician and was currently employed by Rafter Electric with Local 714, an employer which he really enjoyed and took so much pride in.

Cuyler loved life. He was a kind, respectful man who loved his family, friends, fishing with his son, hunting, motorcycle rides on his Harley, boating with his kids, and being outdoors. He waited for summer when his mom and dad would make reservations to go camping and fishing at Parshall so he and Jaxon could join them in the adventure. It didn’t matter if you were 80 or 15, he always had time to spend with you. He cared deeply about spending time with his family.

Cuyler had a unique sense of humor, often cracking jokes which made everyone laugh until tears. He could be best described as a free spirited, a hardheaded smartass with always something sarcastic to say. He had an infectious smile and a laugh that needed no introduction. He always had time to give you a helping hand or to stop by to say hi.

Caylla, his sister, was his biggest pain in the butt always calling him and wanting him to fix something. And he would say, “just because I am an electrician doesn’t make you one”! If his dad needed something done around the house, he would say, “dad don’t worry about it I will be over and get it done”. He might not get there today, but maybe two days later or a few days later but he always got it done.

Cuyler will be deeply missed by his two children, Jaxon Graff (Bismarck) and Alayna Graff (Bismarck); his parents, Clyde and Cindy Graff (Bismarck), his sister Caylla Marquart (Crystal, MN); grandmother, Eileen Graff (Bismarck); niece and nephew,  Adam Marquart (Champlain, MN) and Abigail Marquart (Shakopee, MN); and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cuyler is also survived by his band of brothers (Dave, Fudgie, Johnnie, Swannie, Jim, and Scooter), the ones he would call his “ride and die”.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Reiny & Johanna Seibel; grandfather, Adam Graff; and uncle, Keith Graff.

“Soar high son – you are now free” – Love you always. Mom and Dad

In honor of Cuyler, the family would like everyone who has a motorcycle or roadster to come celebrate his life riding in Cuyler style.
