Cory Larson, 60, Donnybrook, died Thursday July 4, 2024 in a Minot hospital.
Cory Dean Larson was born on May 15th, 1964, in Minot to Verlund and Marjorie (Holte) Larson. He was raised in Donnybrook and graduated from Donnybrook High School in 1982.
After high school Cory started farming and raising cattle. He enjoyed being out with the cattle especially during calving season. Cory then went on to work for Strata Corporation for 13 years. Most recently Cory was helping Craig and Matt farm and ranch.
Cory truly cared about the land. He enjoyed driving around looking at crops admiring good ones whether they were his or not. He always wanted to hear your story no matter who you were. He knew the understanding of family and friends, they are only a heartbeat away. Cory was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and loved animals.
Cory’s family includes daughter Claire Engh, Texas; sister Jill (Craig) Neuenfeld, Kenmare; brother Kevin Larson, Harwood; nieces and nephews Matthew Neuenfeld, Kari Neuenfeld (Brad Hoskin), Kyla Larson and Jordan Larson, along with numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Cory was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kent.
Funeral Service: Friday, July 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Nazareth Lutheran Church, Kenmare.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service in the church.
Burial: Aurelia Community Cemetery, Aurelia, ND.
