Deb Farstad, 64, Minot, died Thursday, June 20, 2024, in a Minot hospital.
Deb Farstad was born on September 7, 1959, in Minot, ND to Eunice and Virgil Farstad. Deb grew up in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1977. Shortly after graduation, Deb moved to Rapid City, SD and enjoyed living and working in the Black Hills.
After a few years away, Deb moved back to Minot where she focused her career on business and marketing. Deb was known for her passion, innovation, strength and drive to create new projects and businesses. Deb had a talent for bringing an idea to life and giving it meaning. During her career, Deb lived a busy life working at NSP, Rochester telephone, Dakota Marketing, and Eliance. Deb was known to encourage others in their ideas and work, and always offered her support in any way she could.
In her retirement, Deb focused on her home life, friends, family, and projects. Deb loved to organize gatherings, decorate, and host garage sales. She had lovely taste and a generous heart. Those who shared her life will miss her positive attitude and courage.
Deb is survived by her daughter Erica Reeve-Rustad (Scott) and her grandson Ransom Rustad; siblings Jeff (Kathy) Farstad and Mary Jo (Doug) Fuller; and several nieces and nephews. Deb was predeceased in death by her parents Eunice and Virgil Farstad. Deb was previously married to Eddy Bergeron, Howard Reeve, and then James Grueneberg.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Oak Park (shelter #7) from noon to 2pm.
A private graveside service was held at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
