Thomas Roe, 60, of Bismarck, passed away on May 20, 2024 in a Bismarck Care Center from a hard fought battle with cancer.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Narum officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Thomas was born on June 13, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN to Richard and Juliet (Olson) Roe.  At a young age the family moved to Bismarck, ND.  In high school he played football and trumpet in the band.  Tom was active in playing trumpet in church especially Easter service.  He graduated from Bismarck High School in 1981.  Thomas went to Bismarck Junior College then to Moorehead State University and graduated with a degree in marketing.  Tom loved people and loved to talk which lead to a very successful career in sales.  His most recent jobs were Pioneer sales and DSG.

From a young age he had a love for fishing and hunting but fishing was his true love.  After graduating from college he went to work on a fishing boat in Alaska for 7 months.  He was the cook on the boat and could often be found making fishing lures and could tell a good fish tale.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Juliet Roe, brother, Steven Roe, sister, Susan Roe, cousins and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, Nellie Roe, his father, Richard Roe and grandfather, Tollef Olson.
