Jennifer Ann Eriksmoen, 53, Minot was greeted by Jesus on Thursday, April 12, 2024, in a Minot hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Jennifer was born November 20, 1970 in Minot, ND to Gary and Louise E. (Harkness) Eriksmoen. She graduated from Minot High School in 1990.

Jennifer was once married to Jon Nissen.

Jennifer once worked for the Diet Center in Minot. Throughout the years, she welcomed many with a smile and helping hand as a cashier at Sears, Target, Staples, Kmart and most recently at Marketplace Foods for the last twelve years. She loved getting to know and catching up with her customers. She had a passion for making sure that she took the time to interact and know her customers.

Jennifer was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Minot, where she was active as a volunteer for soup kitchen, as well as serving on the fellowship committee. At one time, she was an active member of the choir and youth group.

Jennifer enjoyed a good book, time spent scrapbooking and baking in the kitchen. She will be remembered for her kind and caring way and unconditional love for her family and friends. She loved to celebrate birthdays including her own.  If she knew you for long, she would soon know your birthday and make a point of remembering you each and every year. She had an amazing memory and she would remember all your important life events with a call, text, or card. If you were a friend or family, she will love you “always and forever”. If you were an acquaintance, her kindness and likeability was memorable. The world, our community, and our family is forever changed with her passing. Make a point to honor her legacy by showing the same kindness and compassion for others around you and make sure to send them a card. She made a point to give all she had to others as she was able. Even throughout her medical decline, she was always checking in on others in need and praying for them as well as giving her family a “to do list” on her behalf.  She was a planner and a giver, and so there are some that will continue to receive from her even after her passing.

Jennifer is survived by: Mother Louise Eriksmoen, Minot; siblings Brian (Kim) Eriksmoen, Mohall, ND and Diane Eriksmoen and Tracey (Dan) Olson, both of Minot along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, her families at Faith United Methodist Church, Market Place Foods, her childhood neighborhood families, and all those who knew her.

Jennifer is now living eternally with her heavenly Father, father Gary Eriksmoen, sister Lisa Eriksmoen, maternal grandparents Eva and Elmer Harkness, paternal Grandparents Henry and Christine Eriksmoen, and Cora Spradling, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.
