Carol Mohl, 74, of Bismarck, ND, passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 7, 2024, at Sanford Health, Bismarck.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, Bismarck, ND.  The burial will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.  The family will be receiving guests one hour prior to the service.

Carol Ann (McMahen) Mohl was born November 3, 1949, to Archie & Jessie (McAdoo) McMahen in Dickinson, ND.

Carol was raised on the family farm North of Werner ND where she attended grades 1-8.  Then she attended grades 9-12 in Halliday, ND, graduating in 1967.  On June 16, 1967, she married her lifelong partner, Norman Mohl.  They resided in Bismarck, N.D. most of these years. She loved gardening and flowers and made many jars of pickles over the years. They spent a few years enjoying camping and fishing. She loved to play Bingo at the Bismarck Eagles Club.

She worked at Woolworths for a few years, then she worked at Lincoln Oaks Nursery, followed by Basin Electric before lastly working for Kramer Agency, retiring in 2013.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Norman; sister, Jane (Bryant) Kieson; brothers, Garry (Jane) McMahen and Earl (Jackie) McMahen; twin sister, Karen (Ervin) McConnell and sister, Darlene (Earl) Pelton; godchildren, Jessica (Brandon) Fassett, Troy McConnell, and Suzie Weisz; two great nephews, Willard Kieson & Walker Fassett; her beloved cats, Chloe & Buddy; and other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Jessie; sister, Ethel Fern Steichen; brothers, Larry McMahen and infant brother, Archie Scott; niece, Denise Telkamp; brothers-in-law, Neil Hart and Thomas Steichen.
