Lorraine Seidler, 91, of Garrison, passed away March 10, 2024.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the Church of God, Garrison. Burial to follow at the Garrison Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Thompson Funeral Home, Garrison, ND.

Lorraine Seidler was born February 13, 1933, along with twin sister Lenora to Benjamin and Emelie (Buechle) Fetzer near Max ND, where she was raised and educated.  She was a long-time member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Garrison.

On June 23, 1957, she married Reuben Seidler in Garrison at St. Paul Lutheran Church.  They lived and farmed east of Garrison all their lives.  While farming, Lorraine was a farm wife first and foremost.  She also had a career at the Garrison Hospital in housekeeping and retired from there after more than 20 years of service. Lorraine enjoyed quilting, making many quilts for her grandchildren, gardening and canning many fruits and vegetables for the long winters. She was an avid apple pie baker, loved to see her sons, daughter & grandchildren, and was often doing things with her twin sister Lenora.

Lorraine is survived by daughter, Marlene (Bob) Fleck, Bismarck; sons, Larry (Jana) Seidler, Coleharbor, and Richard (Andrea) Seidler, Bismarck; daughter-in-law, Susan Seidler, Garrison; grandchildren, Chris (Sarah) Wentz, Bismarck, Cory (Casey) Wentz, Aberdeen SD, Dustin Seidler, Garrison, Travis Dockter, Mandan, Jesse (Jaclyn) Fleck, Naperville IL; and many great-grandchildren; sister, Glorraine Thomas, Everett WA; sister-in-laws, Janice Fetzer, Garrison, Mary Ann Seidler, Garrison; brother-in-law, Wayne Sayler.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Reuben; one son, Duane; parents, Benjamin and Emelie; brothers, Edwin, Rueben, Ervin, Leeroy, Alvin, and Harold; sisters, Leona Haupt, Lenora, Landsiedel, Betty Sayler and Ruby Weideman.
