Amanda (Neurohr) Richmond passed away on February 15, 2024.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Bismarck Funeral Home. Family will be receiving guests one hour prior to the service.
Amanda was born to Tammy and Roger Neurohr, January 7, 1988 in Minot North Dakota. She grew up on her family’s small farmstead near Harvey, North Dakota. She eventually settled in Bismarck, ND.
Amanda loved babies, animals, the elderly, terminally ill and people with challenges or special needs. Her choice of jobs put her in such positions as a CNA (certified nurse assistant) and at Pride Industries, working with people with disabilities. She worked at thrift stores, including Seeds of Hope, where proceeds go to assist the homeless and abused. She was a hospice volunteer and worked with family friends during the last stage of life.
Amanda’s compassion was extraordinary, and she would turn her vehicle around to give food or a few dollars to a homeless person. She was an encouragement to anyone in pain and was a bright light in a hurting world. The love of Amanda’s life was her beautiful daughter, Hailey.
She married Travis Richmond in 2007 and together they had a daughter.
Amanda is survived by daughter, Hailey Richmond; parents, Tammy and Roger Neurohr; twin sister, Becky (David) Boehm; sisters, Deanna Neurohr and Anna Neurohr; and nieces and nephew. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
