Michelle Marie Knutson of Minot, ND passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 4th, 2024, at Trinity Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was blessed with wings at the age of 59.
Michelle was born on February 7, 1964 in Williston, ND by now deceased parents Carroll and Evelyn Overby. She graduated from Williston High School. She met her husband and life partner, Todd Knutson. They were happily married on August 12, 1988. After living in Fargo, ND; New Mexico; Lisbon, ND; Bismarck, ND and finally making their home in Minot, ND.
Michelle loved to camp and fish, play bingo, plant flowers and decorate her home. She will be remembered for her caring nature and willingness to help anyone in need.
Recently, she had the unfortunate experience of tragically losing, not only her oldest child, but her best friend, Justin, on December 25, 2023.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Todd; son, Kyle; and daughter, Cheryl Ann, whom she loved very much. Sisters, Linda (David) Panasuk, Bainville, MT; Sandy (Mike) Bertelsen, Dickinson, ND; Karen (Faron) Terry, Minot, ND; Melody (Randy) Mazur, Regina, SK; and one special brother, Brent (Donna) Overby, Williston, ND; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gary and Doreen Knutson, Williston, ND; brothers-in-law, Troy (Kallie) Knutson, Watford City, ND; Brad (Jenny) Knutson, Williston, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Evelyn Overby, sister and brother-in-law Haakon (Cheryl) Jorgenson, all of Williston; and beloved son, Justin Paul Knutson of Minot.
Goodbye Michelle, we love you and will miss you until we meet again.
