Donna (Hoffman) Loken, 67, Minot and formerly of Devils Lake and Leeds died on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in her home after a lengthy illness.
Donna was born on September 13, 1956 in Wenatchee, Washington. Her parents were Donald Sr. and Beverly Hoffman. She was raised in various communities in North Dakota where her dad was a school teacher. She graduated from Drake High School and later graduated from Minot State University with a degree in Social Work in 1997. Prior to graduating from college she had resided in Bismarck, Leeds and Devils Lake before coming to Minot during the mid 1990’s. She had spent the last twenty-seven years as a life partner of Tim McLaughlin and had retired in 2008 due to health issues related to a congenital heart problem. Donna especially enjoyed playing darts and was a member of several local dart leagues.
Donna is survived by her life partner: Tim McLaughlin of Minot; son: Jeromy (Tracy) Loken of Ipswich SD; grandchildren: Taylor (Trenton) Steger, Sydney Loken (Michael Kraft), Ashton Loken and Rasmus Loken; siblings: Wendi (Christian) Weseloh of Watertown SD, Don Jr. (Deb) Hoffman of Devils Lake, Mark Hoffman of Minot, Glenn (Kelly) Hoffman of Idaho, Kent (Danae) Hoffman of Minot, Todd (Christi) Hoffman of Minot and Craig Hoffman of Gypsum CO and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donna was preceded in death by her father: Don Hoffman Sr. and mother; Beverly Hoffman Haase.
Graveside Service: Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Section 23 of Rosehill Memorial Park – Minot.
Memorial Gathering: Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home – Minot.
